Undergraduate and postgraduate students at the University of Nottingham are invited to enhance their CVs by gaining work experience at Lakeside Arts. There are paid opportunities as part of the Front of House team, Nottingham Advantage Award volunteer opportunities and a number of opportunities for students to volunteer on a one-off basis at Lakeside to help us deliver special events and festivals.
Paid internships and graduate training schemes are also available. Team working, marketing, working to deadlines, customer service and public engagement are just a few of the diverse range of transferable workplace skills that can be gained here.

The University of Nottingham Museum is currently supported in its work by a team of 40 student and community volunteers. Museum volunteers undertake a wide variety of work in areas of collections care and development and the education and public programme.
